To rent a vehicle from DVM Group, all drivers must meet the following criteria:

• Age Requirement: Drivers must be aged between **30 and 70 years old**.
• Driving License: A full, valid UK or EU driving license held for at least **2 years**.
• Points/Endorsements: We accept licenses with up to 6 penalty points for minor offenses (e.g., speeding). Major endorsements (codes IN, DR, DD, CD) are strictly not accepted.
• Documents Required at Pickup:
  1. Physical Photocard Driving License (No copies/scans).
  2. DVLA Check Code (for UK license holders).
  3. Two separate proofs of address (Utility bill, Bank statement) dated within the last 3 months.

Payment Methods: Rental fees are payable in advance via Credit or Debit card. We do not accept cash for security deposits.

Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit is required for all rentals to cover potential damage, fines, or missing fuel. The amount depends on the vehicle type and insurance package selected. Refunds are processed within 5-10 working days after the vehicle is returned and inspected.

Cancellation Policy:

• More than 24 Hours Notice: Full Refund.
• Less than 24 Hours Notice: No Refund.
• No-Show: No Refund.

Standard Cover: Included in your daily rate. The Hirer is liable for an excess amount (up to £1,000) in the event of damage or theft.

Exclusions (Not Covered): Insurance does not cover damage caused by negligence, including:

• Overhead Damage: Hitting bridges, barriers, or trees (Roof damage).
• Tyres & Windscreen: Punctures, cracks, or wheel damage (unless Full Protection is purchased).
• Interior: Stains, rips, or cigarette burns.
• Keys & Cables: Loss of keys or EV charging cables.

Fuel Policy (Diesel): "Full to Full". Vehicles supplied with a full tank must be returned full. Missing fuel will be charged at the pump price plus a £20 refueling admin fee.

Electric Vehicles (EV): Must be returned with at least 80% battery charge. If returned below 80%, a charging fee will apply. Missing EV cables will be charged at full replacement cost (approx. £250).

Prohibited Use:
• No off-road driving.
• No towing (unless written permission is granted).
• No illegal transport of goods or people.
• No Smoking in any vehicle (£150 cleaning fine).

The Hirer is fully liable for all fines incurred during the rental period. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Speeding Tickets
• Parking Fines (PCN)
• Congestion Charge & ULEZ (Central London)
• Dart Charge (Dartford Crossing)
• Bus Lane violations

Admin Fee: An administration fee of £25.00 will be applied for each fine DVM Group is required to process or transfer liability for.
